How many types of license of Microsoft provide?

How many types of license of Microsoft provide?

Lets take Windows 7 Ultimate as example,
What I know, one of the most common is OEM License.

Is that all the types of the license can only be installed in 1 computer?

How about if I move the harddisk to another computer? Will the Windows 7 still under license? or become software counterfeit?

If I format my harddisk and reinstall Windows 7 Ultimate using the same key for several times on the same computer, will the software become counterfeit?

Or, If I change my motherboard, will the Windows 7 Ultimate become counterfeit?

Can you guys provide me any link that contains the informations? Thanks.

What type of license do you have? If it is OEM, then it can only be installed on the same machine, as many times as you like. If you change hardware, it sometimes requires a call to MS during activation.

If you buy a retail copy, then you can migrate it to any machine of your choice for life, but only one at a time.

If I own a retail copy...

What will happen if the product key appear in two computers?

It will not activate on the second computer until deactivating the first computer's installation.

This is what happens when the robocall is required to MS during activation.
