    BSOD after upgrading to SSD

I recently purchased and installed a 256GB Patriot Warp SSD for one of my laptops and cloned the OS partition from the old (60GB) HDD to the new one with clonezilla. Everything worked far beyond expectation at the first startup but after I tried to restart for the first time I got a BSOD at the login screen and afterwards I got an UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME error at POST. I solved the problem by removing and reseating the HDD then repairing windows but I have no idea what caused it, and have not been able duplicate the error, which bothers the hell out of me for some reason... anyone else hear of something like this happening? What could have caused it?

Could have been a loose connection. If the error was at POST, repairing windows probably had no say in the fix.

That's what bothers me. The first error came at the the welcome screen and the second time at post after a forced shutdown and restart. The laptop is a Compaq 6910p. Don't know if you're familiar with that model, but it's extremely difficult if not impossible to secure the HDD and the HDD cover unless the drive is correctly positioned. I removed and reinstalled the drive because I always do that when there is any kind of error shortly after installing new hardware. But I'm not so sure it was a loose connection, just because it would be almost impossible to have a loose connection once all the screws are in place
