    windows 7 halfway installeD?

im doing this on my laptop before i do it on my desktop computer. i put my windows 7 cd in my laptop thinking i was going to get rid of vista and go to 7. but i just about finished installing and it stayed at completing installation.. fore like 30 mins so i turned it off now i have an erra message that says. "the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. windows installation cannot proceed to install windows click Ok to restart the computer and then restart the installation." but when i hit okay to make it reinstall it boots up and does the same thing.
i tried doing the shift f10 it fails fore me half the things arnt loaded. please help :/

Put the install disc in the drive.

Reboot and enter the bios. Set your bios to boot from the DVD drive first. Save changes and exit the bios.

You should drop into the install again. Do a fresh install at that point.

I think this may be a bit out of your league...You may be better off having a shop do this for you... Good Luck!
