How do i remove my recent files on video players?

The List is too long when i right click a video icon, like VLC or zoom player. Is there a way to lessen or remove the list of recent videos?

Welcome to seven forums!
Go to your windows media player and click on alt. A menu should pop up. Click on tools and then options. Go to the privacy tab. Click on clear history

Thanks for your help. Is there a way to do that for VLC and Zoom players as well?

I believe that it is very possible on VLC or ZOom players, but I do not personally use those software much, so I cannot tell you an answer without lying
