x64 Booting repair

My relative has x64 windows 7 ultimate and for some reason it boots up and says starting windows and then a blue screen pops up for a milasecond and you cant read any error codes and will keep restarting and restarting. I have a windows 7 x32 ultimate and anyways will i be able to repair windows with a x32 windows cd?

Download Windows 7 System Recovery Discs — The NeoSmart Files

If Startup Repair fails to start Windows 7, try booting into Safe Mode to check Event Viewer or Performance Diagnostics Log for cause of bluescreen. It may require a new Video driver, etc.

A bluescreen normally means a driver problem of some type. Is this during an initial install?
