    upgrade at 6hrs plus...

Trying to install RTM 6.1.7600.16385 I made a mistake and changed the value of cversion.ini [HostBuild] MinClient=7233.0 MinServer=7100.0 I changed minClient to 7000 thinking it would give me more renewals for the trial... install on my Asus p5k-e (4gb ram) now at 6 hours. What should I do? I had a lot of programs on the pc...is that the delay???

RTM 6.1.7600.16385 is not a trial.
It is, in fact, the full retail version.

You either got it legally, from Microsoft (MSDN or TechNet), or downloaded the iso from 'other sources'.

If you don't have the MS key from the official DL areas, you're SOL....

(Don't make mistakes where a computer is concerned! ) JMHO...

Its probably not going to install no matter how long you wait. Kill it format and do a clean install.
