Can you install OEM with Upgrade DVD Media?

Hey guys, will a Windows 7 Upgrade DVD work with and do a normal clean install with a OEM CD-Key, or do I need to find a full retail DVD media to install 7 with an OEM key? Also, is there anywhere I can download or cheaply purchase the Full Windows 7 DVD Media from? I know there is versions all over the torrent sites, but I can't determine which one would be authentic and unmodified. Link? Thanks guys!

All Windows 7 installers are the same, only the key determines which version, but some versions are hidden in installer due to the presence of an ei.cfg file in Sources folder.

You can extract files, delete that file, recompile into ISO then burn an All-Versions installer which will work with your stickered COA key.

Bootable ISO - Create from Installation Files

Burn DVD from the same drop-down menu where ISO is created.

There is a lot more to OEM versions then just a key. So no it would work like you expect.

Such as...? Are you referring to all the OEM software/drivers/etc specific to each machine? That's not what I'm after. I just need a Original Windows 7 DVD that will install with OEM keys for when my customers come into the shop and I need to reload. I knew it was like the Vista DVD media in that its pretty universal, I just happen to only have a 7 Upgrade DVD on hand and wasn't sure if Microsoft tinkered with the Upgrade DVD image so that it wouldn't take OEM keys by default. I will just rip, remove ei.cfg, and re-compile my on-hand 7 Upgrade discs and problem solved. Ideally, I'd have a technet account so I can download these images, but I don't see the point in spending the money for a few CD Images I need each year. Thanks guys.
