Windows failed to start error. Dual boot issue.

Greetings to everyone in Seven Forums. I could use your help with a problem I have.
There are 2 discs in my PC, a Seagate SATA and a Maxtor IDE. I installed Windows XP Professional 32-bit on the Seagate disc (partition D) and afterwards Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on the Maxtor disc (partition C), however I didn't get the OS selection menu at all; I could only access Windows 7.
I ran cmd and typed the following commands:

bcdedit /create {ntldr} /d "Windows XP"
bcdedit /set {ntldr} device partition=D:
bcdedit /set {ntldr} path \ntldr
bcdedit /displayorder {ntldr} /addlast

This way the selection menu appeared normally. Now, when I select Windows 7 the system loads up perfectly, but when I select Windows XP I get this error message:

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem repair your windows installation.
File: \ntldr
Status: 0xc000000f
Info: The selected entry could not be loaded because the application is missing or corrupt.

What's wrong? Any suggestions? Here are the bcd and disc management snapshots.
