"This program is blocked due to compatibility issues."
Hi Everybody,
I have gone thru the tutorial of installing a dual boot to my laptop. I have windows 7 as the first install, and I am trying to add Windows XP. I successfully partitioned the hard disk using the tutorial(using disk management to shrink drive C and creating a new partitioned drive). When I insert the Windows XP installer which I bought, I am able to click the Install Windows XP, but then this error comes out:
"This program is blocked due to compatibility issues." and something like: "Setup cannout continue because the version of windows on your computer is newer than the version on the CD."
When I try to do the install on start-up, the setup is running but then I stumble again to an error:
"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer", blah blah. And the technical info is like "***STOP: 0x0000007B"
Can anybody help me with this?
