Can't install win7, because 'bootmgr is missing'
Hi, so I'm experiencing some problems with my computer. Recently my motherboard broke so I had to get a new one. After getting the new one in the mail and re-assembling my computer, I thought it would be best if I reinstalled Win7. Win7 was still functioning with the new motherboard, but it had some minor problems after I put in the new motherboard.
So i put in the win7 dvd and during setup where you have to choose on which hard drive(I have 2, one dynamic to store all files i want to keep) you want to install it, it gave me error something along the lines 'setup cannot install on this partition, check log files'. It never gave me that error before, so I formatted that hard drive and tried again. Unfortunatly it gave me the same error. After that I cancelled the installation and restarted. But now it won't even let me go to Win7 setup, because Bootmgr is missing. I can still got to bios and some other stuff, but nothing after that.
Did accidently erase something during the format? Can my computer still be saved?
