The keys are version specific. Moreover, I agree with the other members, I would get rid of those programs, who knows what's in there. I didn't know MS would help you clean a pirate copy, but I think they only mean remove the crack, I doubt they would clean any other malware. Run Windows Easy Transfer, collect files and settings and clean install.

well to save him a little bit of money you could pick up a seven family pack from a trusted retailer. while they are no longer being sold by MS they are still available through some retailers, amazon has a few new copies left, obviously you dont want to buy a used copy of any OS.
