XP will install normally with just SATA drives set to IDE. If you have them set to AHCI you will need to load the drivers, and I used a USB floppy.

If you have the System Reserved partition, it can cause problems for the XP install, so make sure. If you do not know, check disk management to see if it shows.

I went to Disk Management and I have a C: drive, an E: Drive (HP TOOOLS), a Drive (Recovery), then something that says SYSTEM with 199MB capacity. Is that it?

Yes, that is probably it. Can you attach a snipping tool picture of your disk management window?

I notice when I create a system image under the RC in a dual boot (XP/RC) configuration, the XP drive is included in the drives selected for imaging and I can't seem to eliminate it. Is there a way not to have it included? Thank you.
