Windows 7: 32-bit or 64-bit?

I just received Windows 7 Home Premium, but I'm not sure which version to install. I'm currently running 32-bit Windows Vista Home Premium on an Acer Aspire laptop, 4GB of RAM and Inter Core dual processor of 1.67 GHz each.

Any tips?

without knowing more about your system, its hard to say.. please fill out your system specs...

Based just on RAM, go with 64 Bit.

You could run 64 bit. But you really should check your hardware specs and make sure your devices have 64 bit drivers.

32 bit would be the safest option for you. Your machine wouldn't utilize all 4 gig of ram, but enough to run Windows 7 very smoothly.

Um, how do I exactly find the specs on Vista?

Its your computer specs. If you download this you can get all your specs.

In Device Manager.

Expand all the devices in Device Manager. Then Fill out your specs.

But so far it looks like you'll be ok for x64.
