upgrade from professional chinese to ultimate

I have purchased a Sony Vaio Z11 in Shanghai. It comes with Windows 7 professional chinese language pack installed. I am keen to have english as the default language. I do not want to loose pre-installed sony drivers and applications so I feel an upgrade to windows 7 ultimate is better than a clean install of a english version of windows 7. Unfortunately upgrade anytime is not available in China, and there is no upgrade packs you can buy which will upgrade you from professional to ultimate. However, I will return to Australia soon, I understand upgrade anytime is available online in Australia. Will it possible then to take my Vaio to Australia and purchase a license code through upgrade any time for ultimate upgrade ???

I believe you cant upgrade from one language to another just be upgrading from Pro to ultimate. Check MS for upgrade anytime paths.

I have recently upgraded from my XP to Win7 Ultimate 32 bits. And I realised that when I play chinese games, I had to delete all my previous saves before it would load properly and even then, the text becomes gibberish in-game. With some of my other games, the programme itself won't run. I have...
