"Discovered I can't upgrade between 7068 and 7077 (x64).
I get an unexpected error 0xC0000005 "verify installation source are accessible and restart the installation." Well did this 3 times and gave up.
Couldn't be dicked doing a fresh install so I'll wait. If my iso is corrupted I'm certainly not going to go through the trouble of downloading 3.04G again that's for sure .. lol! "
Funny cause I just upgraded from 7067 to 7077 64bit perfectly well. No errors that you mentioned. I did disconnect all USB devices prior to doing so. Try that as in the past I was getting a failed upgrade install till I disconnected all USB hardware from PC.
I also create image backups of my previous installs as a precaution.
However I fully agree that one should always do a full clean install when moving up to a new build and if I discover any problems after this upgrade.
