    Windows 7 Boot Loader Problem

OK I started with a 80 gig IDE Hard disc with the release candidate on it (yes I had very little memory needs). I recently got a 300 gig hard disc and put Windows 7 Home Premium on it I got thru the Ultimate Steal. Today I tried to take out the 80 gig drive and found out that the Windows 7 I put on the 300 gig did not install the boot loader. I cannot find a easy way to get the boot loader so I can just use the 300 gig with 7 on it can someone please help? Thanks in advance!

    Welcome!

With the 80GB drive disconnected, boot from your installation disc and mark your Windows 7 partition as active. See here: https://www.sevenforums.com/installat...-problems.html

Then run startup repair 3 times, or until Windows boots, whichever comes first.

Raziel, have you marked the partition as active? You can double check that with a partition program like Partition Magic, EaseUS or GParted

Your Home Prem. key will not work with the pro version.
