    What version of win7 ? also is it 32 bit or 64 bit ? How are you trying to install ? Booting from DVD ? Not from within XP !!!

    its the orignal copy i have n bought n i m booting not from xp

    If you just built this computer, why didn't you try to install win7 first ?

    You need to re-set the Bios setup to Load fail-Safe Defaults or Load Optimizized Defaults

    Safe & re-boot to the win7 dvd on new boot up

    You are still getting the ACPI error meessage when you try to install from the win7 DVD ?

    no when i boot the dvd it syasy loading windows file n th blue windoows 7 screen come n mouse on it nothing else no option or nothing
