Can i change windows in hp lap top?

hi.
Could someone help?
I have a lap top hp. Windows Vista Home Premium 7.
I made manager in 3dvd recovery.
Can I change windows, to install a professional windows or ultimate?
If yes, can still install Windows Vista Home Premium from the recovery manager 3dvd?
thanks.

Welcome!

Do you have a Windows 7 DVD and license key? If you have a Professional or Ultimate key, but a Home Premium DVD, you can unlock the other versions by deleting the ei.cfg file found in the Sources folder of the installation files.

If you don't have the correct key for your installation, you will need to reinstall after 30 days.

Hi. I just bought a HP lap-top, but do not provide DVD-windows. With that said, recovery is done with windows manager again. I made 3 dvd of recovery manager.
I want to install Professional Windows 7, my DVD and original code.
But I want to know that whether this can still install windows that I (w-7 home premium), if not to like Windows 7-Professional?

Sure, you can install it.

You will need to do a clean install, not upgrade: Clean Install with a Upgrade Windows 7 Version

I think you're asking if you can reinstall Vista from the 3 DVD set you created if you don't like Windows 7. If so, the answer is yes, though I doubt you will need to. Windows 7 is a very good OS, better in almost all ways than Vista. A few quirks but overall a very good OS.

If you don't enter a product key when you install Windows 7, you can "try out" whatever version you want for 30-days before you have to activate it.

But understand, the keys are version-specific. So, if you only have a key for Home Premium, that's the only version you will be able to activate.

xhimi,
You can extend the trial period of any windows 7 edition to a total of 120 days (4 months). That should be enough to make up your mind. Here are step by step instructions on how to it.

Use any version of Windows 7 free for 120 days

If you like Windows 7 and have some HP apps you cannot find on the HP Support Downloads webpage for your model, here is a way to extract them from the Recovery Disks:
