    Hard drive error?

Hey, i just restored my laptop with the system cd and recovery cds to the factory setup because it was so full of junk and slow. But when the setup finished, the c:/ capacity has shrunk. It was originally a 60gb drive. 40gb c:/ and 20 d:/, now its 10gb c:/ and 20gb d:/ when i select properties. anyone help?

    Hi.

So this is a Windows XP problem then and not a Windows 7 one? You can find your disk management by right clicking on My Computer and selecting Manage.

EDIT: After reading the link it doesn't help really. I think you need to create a partition with the unallocated space by right clicking on it, then try to extend it. Your best bet would be to Clean Install Windows 7.
