    Going back to XP

If I want to go back to XP (clean install) from Windows 7 how do I migrate all of my settings? When I went to Windows 7 I used the "windows easy transfer utility" to move my settings. Can I use it to go in the other direction? If not, how do I do this? Thanks!

As far as I know, that works only one way - up. I guess they wanted to help people to move to the newest OS. The way back to an XPired OS is pretty unusual. Why do you want to do that? Do you have any Windows7 problems we can help you with?

lol for what you want to move xp??

or maybe i suggest you to make dual OS in it..so when you want to run xp just choose xp..and you can switch to win7 too.

there should be no way to migrate settings from 7 ---> xp.

that is because 7's structure in no way resembles xp.
also, remember, you cannot upgrade from xp to 7, so why would you be able to save settings and apply them backwards?

I think there is no way to migrate your setting back to Xp and also vice versa.

Here is the problem I am having. No solution can be found as far as I can see. I have been troubleshooting it for months:

AMD Game Forums - Windows 7 + ATI 4350 and ATI 4850 unable to achieve 1920x1080 over VGA on Samsung TV

And, just to clarify. I have tried the solutions in the thread as well. No love.

After helping many posters, I have not seen any possible way of acheiving your goal. If you feel that you must have XP, you just have to reset everything manually, like you did the first time.

What do you mean by "like you did the first time"?
