Hi all,

Will installing a x86 version application damage my Windows 7 x64 notebook?

Welcome!

No, it won't damage your notebook at all. There are a handful of apps that will not work on 64-bit, but it will just result in an error message.

The truth is, even on 64-bit systems, most applications are 32-bit.

Yes, that's correct.

If it doesn't work, you may try compatibility mode.
