windows 7 and installation of Office prof plus 2007

    Good day,
Perhaps somebody can help me with the following problem. My laptop
crashed and I bought a new desk top computer. Installing my office professional
plus 2007, I am unable to activate it, since the new computer would
mean a forth license and I am entitled to only three.
Can anybody please tell me how I should proceed?
Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

Unless you can convince MS to reactivate it due to the crash, you will need to purchase a new liscense...

    Uceni49,

IDK what exactly your license terms are but AFAIK, all versions of Office 2007 (except Home & Student which can be installed on upto 3 computers) can only be installed on 2 computers. But you can check in Office 2007 itself. Navigate to Resources-About and on that page scroll down, there should be a View MS license terms somewhere. That will tell you how many devices your office copy can be installed on.
