Booting pendrive linux from builtin card reader

Same as the title, but heres more info:
i have a hp DV4 pavillion laptop and im wondering if theres anyway to boot linux from my built in memory card reader?So i dont have to waste a flash drive?

That depends on whether or not your boot loader can read from that drive. If it can then it should be possible. If not... good luck.
