    whattt??? so system restore was wrong?


    its already doing it what should i do?

    Yes, allow System Restore to complete, then download and install Microsoft Security Essentials and run a Full Scan.

    If it finds any remaining infection, then download and install Spybot, update from desktop, then reboot into Safe Mode (by tapping F8 at Boot), click on Spybot, maximize to full screen and run "Check for Problems."

    If there are any viruses hiding in memory, Spybot has the ability to flush them after restart when run in Safe Mode.

    The combination of these two scans should give you a clean bill of health. Previously I would have suggested Avast boot scan, but MSE has been finding Trojans from desktop than Avast cannot find during boot scan.

    system restore did not work......... im going to try the hold zero one next... what should i do after the holding zero screen comes up?

    when i pressed on and held 0 on the key board it just beeped, and did nothing...... it went to my log in page..?

    holding zero made it beep and do nothing other then go to my log in page like normal?

    Slow down a bit please.
    Restore to factory will remove all programs you have installed since purchase. Can you save files to external HD or USB.
