Windows Seven on Asus eee?

    Windows Seven on Asus eee?


    Hi Guys
    In a few days i'm gonna buy an asus eee (900, 901 or 904)

    So I wanna know if it's possible to get windows seven on it, and run it normally without freezzing al the time? if you use the aero function off course.
    Has anyone of your guys done it?

    there should be no problem with using windows 7 in a eee
    as long as you have more than 1 gig then you should be fine....

    as you said since you are not going to run no aero then you should be fine...

    also try the get the one with the most hardrive space....
    with a 16 gb you will get about half of the free disk space...

    Did you mean "if you use the aero function of course" as opposed to off?

    Yes that was what i meaned. My english isnt that good. I'll try both (the aero function and the others) when i'll get the computer,which probably will be sometime tomorrow.

    I have an EEE PC 900, the thing is a champ. I wouldn't dare to put Vista or Seven on it though. :P

    There are a couple of Youtube vids with Win 7 that they are using asus eee 900, 1000. Albeit pretty cruddy vids but....

    Hi Guys...

    I didnt get it today. But i decided, to get a bigger model. The Asus eee 1000H with 1.6 GHZ Atom processor, 1048 mb DDR-Ram and 160 GB harddrive. Ill get it cheap trough my uncle for about 200 dollars. Ill still try to install windows seven on the asus but its gonna get a little easier with a 160 GB harddrive.
