.mig easy transfer files did not install to 7 from xp

Hi-I've just installed Windows 7 and used the Windows Easy Transfer to get files from XP to Windows 7.They are .mig files and are there were 6 4gb files and now there are still 3 in my External HD.How do I get the rest of the files installed in Windows 7.I tried reinstalling the Easy transfer programme but it won't let me reinstall.Thanks in advance to anybody that can help.

When you use WET in Win7 this will not delete files, if you start 6,run WET, you will still 6.

Thanks for your reply.Maybe more details will help to unfold the mystery? First,there are definetely 3 files left in my external hd and there were 6 that were originally transferred by WET.There was an error message of some sort of problem when I ran WET the first time and,interestingly,it found 14.2 gb and made 3 files.After the error message,I went back and ran it again and it found 25.3gb and there were 6 files.It won't let me run WET again to see if it will finish depositing the remaining files to where they belong.
