Installing Windows 7 on more than one PC

Hey guys,

I my laptop came with Windows 7 installed and a recovery disk (not really an installation disk). The recovery disk makes my laptop so that it has the factory default settings, basically a clean Windows 7 installation.

So I wanted to use this disk to install Windows 7 on my Desktop as well but wasn't quite sure if it would work. I didn't try it because I didn't want to mess anything up on the Desktop. So...will it work you guys think?

It would've been easier if my laptop came with a Windows 7 installation disc but it didn't .

It won't work.

If you really want, you can download the windows 7 disk (any version) and install it, but you will need to buy a key within 30 days.
