Having Problems With Student Discount Upgrade!!

Hi, I've been looking around since I had this problem and I see that it is an old problem, because many people had it back in October. Well I'm hoping that since then, a definite and easy fix has been made. This is what I keep getting-

"We are unable to create or save new files in the folder in which this application was downloaded. Please check the folder properties to make sure that you have security permission on the folder to write files and that the folder is not read only."

I have clicked on the folder and unclicked Read Only but it keeps re-reading. Please someone help...

Thanks for the link, but i've run across another problem.

I put in the code into CMD, and it took about a half hour switching over the files. It now says....

    100% complete
Final Image is (quite big) bytes

    Done.

But nothing came up...and the instructions do not really help with what to do now....What do I do?

Ok-Note-I just saw that Windows offers an ISO version. I'm now downloading that, titled
    DLMWin7Pro64US-ISO.exe
Once it is installed, what do I need to do? Is there a guide for this version?

Burn the ISO to DVD using Imgburn at 4x speed with Verify - it never fails.

Boot DVD, select Custom install, use Drive tools to delete partition(s), create new one(s) as you wish, format before installing to first partition.

DVD will scan HD to see old OS, passing flag to allow Upgrade version key.

Installer is nearly driver complete, with newer ones arriving quickly via optional Windows Updates. Then any missing drivers can be found along with favorite apps on the Support Downloads webpage for your model cmoptuer/device.
