Clean install of Win7 after an upgrade install?

I'm a new Win7 user and a new Seven Forums user. Quick questiion for you guys... Can I do a clean install of Win7 w/ the same upgrade disc I used for an upgrade install on the same computer? I did an upgrade from Vista install and activated the key.

Windows is working fine btw, but I want to do a clean install. Is it possible or will I need to buy a Windows 7 Disc?

Thx!

Thx Shawn, but I was wondering can I do a clean install using the same upgrade disc that I used for an upgrade install? And can I use the same verification key for the clean install?

If it's a retail copy of Windows 7 Upgrade, then yes for both.

You can make this your last reinstall if you save a Win7 backup image as soon as you get it installed and set up, drivers updated, Windows Updates, cleaned and defragged.

Then you never have to reinstall again, just reimage the HD (or a replacement) in 15-20 minutes using your Win7 DVD Repair console or Repair CD and the saved image.
