Win7 64bit Suddenly not genuine?

    Kind of depends on your idea of a trusted seller. To me Amazon and MWave are trusted sellers. I certainly would not buy off of Ebay. I have used Amazon and MWave for years and have never had a problem. Of course I always buy OEM as I build my own systems. I imagine you have just as much chance with a so-called trusted seller as any other. What store is going to hire enough people to go through their entire inventory to look for illegal software. Amazon was just unlucky I guess. I will still buy from them though I may check software like Windows from now on just to make sure. In fact, it does not matter where you buy it, you should check the validity of it; those who make the fake stuff are getting quite sophisticated.

    Where/when did you see a news article about Amazon selling illegal software? I'd expect a major retailer like Amazon would make headlines if that happened.
