Hello,

To start off, so my topic won't get locked, i checked and searched the internet but didn't find any similair problem such as mine.

When I start my desktop I get the problem from windows7 which says that I have a problem with BOOTMGR not found.

I do ctrl+alt+delete to reboot, and spam right away my esc button, so I go into boot menu, and when I there take my primary master drive, my windows loads.

now i read all guides and manuals on how to do reinstall it with a disc.. But my brother has the disc and he's on vacation trip for a month. So here i'm quiet stuck.

So I wondered if there was a mistake in the bios setting??!!

It might probably be a stupid question, but i'm still learning in these things :)

Please post back a screenshot of your full Disk Management drive map and listings, using Snipping Tool in Start Menu, attach file using paper clip in Reply Box.

Were there any changes made before the problem occurred?

Is your Win7 HD set first to boot in BIOS (after DVD drive)?

Do you have a Repair CD? If not burn it to CD from here: System Repair Disc - Create

What gregrocker is referring to there is the hard drives item typically found in the Integrated Periphals section in most Award and Phonix bios versions. When highlighting that item in the bios setup and pressing the enter key a new screen comes up with the list of hard drives installed shown there.

For insuring the drive where 7 is installed is set as the default boot drive you generally use the plus and minus keys on the Numpad or look on the right side reference in the bios there for the assigned keys in order to move the 7 drive to the top of the list.

To insure 7 loads right away without hesitation the advanced section's or in the boot or boot order hard drive is set as first with all others disabled. That's called forcing the boot from the 7 drive itself to insure Windows loads up automatically.
