Installation Help

Hey everyone. I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista, but during the process I was unable to do a clean install. I purchased Windows 7 off of Microsoft's website which means that I did not get a DVD, so I was wondering if there is an alternative way to reformat the drive and do a fresh install even thought I cannot do the DVD prompts as all of the other tutorials that I have found had said? Is there any way into "fooling" the system into thinking that the exe/box files are a CD? (Would converting them to .iso work?)

Thanks in advance and I appologize if this has been asked before, but I haven't seen anything similar to this as of yet.

MS made good on failure to provide Student installers here: Microsoft Fixes Windows 7 Student Edition Upgrade Problems

Use this tool to unlock all versions in the installer:

When you boot the DVD to do a Custom install, it will scan the HD to see your previous install and pass a flag to allow use of Upgrade version key, even if you then use the Drive Options (Advanced) to Delete, Create and Format new partition(s).
