How to load win7 on scsi raid systems?

How to load Windows 7 on scsi raid systems? the drives aint recognise

i had to load sata drivers for my portege laptop m400

what drivers do i need? raid or scsi from dell?

you need the drivers for the SCSI controller that is in your machine.
Could be Adaptec, LSI or some other manufacturer.

you may have to enable Interrupt 19 in the BIOS as well if it isn't already turned on.

how do i get dell to boot thru instead of doing the bios checks for boot options or whATEVER IT DOES?

  1. Start the computer from the installation media, and then follow the instructions in the Setup program.
  2. Select a target operating system.
  3. On the Where do you want to install Windows page of the Setup program, click Load drivers, and then locate the folder that contains the 32-bit drivers for your mass storage controller.
  4. Click the driver, and then click Next.
  5. Click Load drivers again, locate the drivers for your mass storage controller, and then click Next.
  6. Select the target partition, and then complete the installation.
