can you clean install Windows 7 64 bit onto a XP 32 bit?

Basicly I would like to clean install a 64 bit Windows 7 onto a 32 Windows XP.

Yes, if the computer is capable of running 64 bit Windows 7. Have you run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor yet? Along with telling you if the computer is 64bit capable, it will also identify hardware and software you will need to upgrade or replace.
