    windows 7 reboot?


    Okay, so i am not a computer freak and don't know a lot about computers but i had came here for one reason or question, i have a acer aspire 5534 and the specs are below.


    System specs:

    .AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 processor
    L310(1.20GHz)
    .ATI Radeon™ HD3200 Graphics
    Up to 1919MB HyperMemory™
    .15.6" 16:9 HD LCD
    .4GB Memory
    .250GB HDD
    .DVD-Super Multi DL drive
    .Acer Nplify™ 802.11/g/Draft-N
    .6-cell Li-ion battery

    My question is, how do i fully reboot my computer if that is the word, when i mean fully, i mean like getting everything reseted, with no programs on the desktop besides recycle bin and have everything deleted as if the computer was brand new, thank you for reading my question, please help me

    Are you experiencing performance problems which make you want to start over as you describe? There may be specific fixes for any issues you can lay out for us.

    Generally speaking, the most thorough way to start fresh is to clean reinstall the OS from boot: Clean Install Windows 7 - Windows 7 Forums.URL You willl need to find a Win7 install DVD, possibly unlock all versions to reinstall your licensed version with the Product Key that came with retail Win7 or is stickered to your computer.

    If you don't have major performance issues to overcome, then another way is to set up a new User Account in Control Panel. Once you have it set up and your files transferred over, you can delete the old User Account along with any settings corruption or file buildup that bothers you. In fact, you might want to try this first to see if it is enough.

    An intermediary step might be to run a Repair Install which reinstalls the OS while keeping all programs, files and settings in place. This is for serious performance problems. There are other lesser steps which we can give you if you are more specific about what ails you.
