I can't see that ever working from a virtual drive. Not if you are going to try and do a clean install or even custom install where you want to replace one OS with another. On the first reboot during setup your virtual drive will not exist anymore and setup will fail. I'm going to sound like a broken record but my advice is to buy a 4 gig thumbdrive and install from that. It's a piece of cake if you use the Microsoft Store: Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool Help
