Issue in dual OS in windows 7 Professional

I have windows 7 professional 32-bit in my laptop. I did a partition on my hard drive and I installed windows server 2008 in it as a dual OS. After the installation, when I restart my computer, it is not giving me option to select the available two OS and directly starting up windows server 2008. What can I do to get the options to select the available OS on system boot up?

Download EasyBCD and use it to create a boot loader - this will give you the option on boot.

I can only install it on win server 2008 right now, as it is the only option I have. Should I go ahead and install on win server 2008? Just installation of EasyBCD does the work or should I do some thing else?

When you are ready you can use either easybcd, or bcdedit to modify the boot loader. Here are the instructions for the later. BCDEDIT - How to Use

In Easybcd, Click "Add New Entry"

Select Windows Vista/7 in the dropdown .

Type in any name you want to give the boot menu entry under "Name"

Select the partition 7 is installed in the "Drive" drop down

Click Add Entry.

I am sorry Ken. I am not sure what entry to modify using bcdedit. Can you please help me with little more elaborated steps? I have no knowledge regarding these issues.

I can't see windows vista/7 option in "Add/Remove Entries=>Add new entry=>Type". I can see windows vista/Longhorn, windows NT/2k/xp/2k3 and windows 95/98/ME. What should I select in these?

You have to download Easy BCD 2.0 because that is the version that supports Windows 7. Because it is still a Beta (dont worry it as stable as the previous release) you have to download the program from the developers forum. You need to register before you can download.

Edit: Sorry I didn't see SIW2 last post.
