    Welcome

Every mfg makes it possible to return to factory specs, either by using and fkey or by DVD. If you did not get a DVD, read this.

If this link does not help, then check your manual. It will tell you about factory specs.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,System Recovery is the same as a clean install, then?I AM familiar with that-had to use it several times(experimenting)Yet it also installs bloatware.Take the good with the bad.......By the way,I have burned a couple system repair discs and disc images as well.Guess I can Recover and then RE-Image?

When you buy preinstalled you have to live with what they give you. That is why so many upgrade when a new OS is sold. If you buy just Windows DVD there is no bloatware..

    Another option you have...

If you know someone that has a disc of the same version of Windows 7 that you are running (Home Premium x64) You could always use that disc to get a clean unbloated install, while still using the OEM key provided to you by your computer manufacturer.

Do you have a Microsoft sticker on the bottom of your laptop? That should be your key.
