I marked the windows 7 partition as active, however it still is not showing the installation, and when it says ''windows found problems with your computer's startup options Do you want to apply repairs and restart your computer?" I click Repair and Restart but there are still ''failed to save startup options''

Is there a generic sata driver I can use to get the installation to show up in system recover options?

Looks like you have delete the first partition with all boot files.

As Startup repair is finding a HD, no need for sata drivers.

I made that CD and have changed windows 7 to primary/active. I cant get windows recovery to let me use system repair, it keeps saying it cant save the startup options

    Bootsect Command-Line Options

\Boot\BCD error no OS found in Repair console.

after following these two guides I got it to say ''windows failed to start. A recent hardware change....

    File: \Boot\BCD
    Status: 0xc000000f

An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration
