As far as I know, there are no restrictions on how many times an ISO can be burnt to media.

Your retail Windows disc has no copy protection. It can be coppied to multiple media sources for safe keeping.

Follow method 2 in the tutorial. Copy the contents of the disc to the flash drive. And you're good to go. I know this isn't getting to the root of the problem. But it should be a quick work around to getting an OS on your PC.

I am going to ask for more help from some members that are experienced with RAID configurations. Keep an eye out on the thread.

Helping your fellow peers and learning something new along the way is plenty enough

Im not too familiar with RAID0 setups under 7 either, but wondering if its something in your setup. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly, hang in there.

BTW, What Motherboard do you have?

Thanks for the kind words RAID zero. Most of us on this site have no affiliation with Microsoft. Just a bunch of enthusiasts who enjoy giving people a hand with their issues. Everyone needs a little help sometimes.

In your computers BIOS you have RAID turned ON and you see both drives? You have configured the RAID from within the BIOS correct?

My mobo is a ASUS P5Q Pro i belive, i have attempted to use its driver disc that came with it in the past, but it does not support the newer windows 7 (even if it was bought in august last year). and likewise i belive it is something in my BIOS setup. i also notice like that ATAPI thing you said was normal , that my 6 SATA ports appear on the BIOS (Only in IDE mode, not in RAID) and it displays whats attached,

like i said

IDE Mode (not what i want) = my bluray in detail appearing on screen (working install)

RAID ( what i want) = ATAPI CD not in detail (not working Install.)

but now

IDE = all 6 SATA ports in detail displayed in BIOS

RAID = No sata ports displayed on bios main screen.

(Another note, when i boot the computer up it says no drives are detected (im assuming it means my dvd drive) , right after the bios is booted up.
