Cannot install 32-bit RC on iMac
My computer is a white 24" iMac (2.33GHz C2D, 3GB RAM) with an NVIDIA 7600GT 256MB PCI-e graphics card. Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 build 7000 have all happily installed and run on this computer under Boot Camp.
Build 7100 fails to install, either from a clean installation or an upgrade from Vista, due to a BSOD (STOP 0x00000116) "Attempt to reset the display driver and recover from timeout failed."
A clean installation simply reboots over and over. The upgrade BSODs once, and then rolls back.
What to do?
