Unless you are using Recovery Disks that came with a factory installation, you ALWAYS have to insert your Product Key to activate Win7.

It sounds like you may have gotten an illegally cracked DVD which self-activates.

I would go back to the Computer store and ask for the Product Key which should have come with the DVD. If they will not give it to you, and you have purchase receipt, contact MS Customer Service to ask for assistance or contact your local authorities to report theft by fraud.

ok.but it is an original dvd.microsoft stamp.the store owner is my freind.maybe its a retail dvd

the only problems is with framework 3.5 service pack 1.update last june.it made ovi plater stop working. i uninstall ovi player.but cant install again.the version of ovi player framework 3.5 service pack 1 that comes in the installation failled and the rest of the ovi player to install.

Yes you can go back to Vista using the Product Key stickered to your computer. Do you have the Vista DVD or Recovery Disks?

yes i have the vista dvd.and the recover part in the pc disc.i want to use ovi player its for my phone.it shows artwork.better.

You will get a cleaner installation using the Vista install DVD for your version - you can unlock all versions if you need to.

The DVD is mostly driver-complete, with newer arriving quickly via optional Windows Updates. Any drivers then missing can be found on the Support Downloads webpage for your model HP.

Make sure your Product Key on sticker is readable first. If not audit it from HD using Belarc Advisor or Magical Jellybean.
