You need to preload the raid drivers preinstalling Win7. As I never read about this in your posts.
I believe this is incorrect, W7 has all that is required on the disk.
WD has a bootable diagnostic disk. Check out the drives. If one fails the array fails.
Did you put the array in the sata header 0 and 1. First two basically.
When installing OS, unplug all other drives, put the rom drive in the last sata header.
    Is your PSU big enuff?

Guys windows 7 loads the correct driver, we dont need to preload via usb. My problem was based on a stupid ( lots of time wasted) issue!! I have two monitors connected to my ati 4870x2 card and because of that i didnt have image, but the system was working fine... I notice that if a press a lot of keys and enter button that the activity light flashed a lot (now my windows name is "lakdhlakdhlkjhuiwuio" ), so i remember to disconect the 2nd screen and voila it worked the image show up on the first lcd.

looool stupid stupid thing to make me waste time...

So remember to disconnect the second screen before installing windows 7...

Anyway thank you all for the effort trying to help me.

    Greetings from Portugal!

    Best regards,

    Well,
I'm not a puter professional, but its all over the net that W7 has the raid drivers with install disk. Once the install is complete you can update them to Intels RST 9.6. I saw the option you talk about, but after doing the homework, I let W7 take care of business. Possible that its just a carry over from past. An XP install would have to use the F6 option, no raid drivers included there.
    W7/64 easiest install ever.
