    Cannot create/Format Partition


    Hi i had bought new laptop. At that i have two drives and i locked one of them with the bitlocker and later on i just deleted that drive from disk management.

    Now i cannot create partition, i have more than 160 GB and system does not allow me to install a fresh copy and neither it allows me create a partition
    What should i do?

    You could try the steps described here: SSD / HDD : Optimize for Windows Reinstallation

    As it erases everything on the drive, it might ignore the encryption.

    That method doesn't erase the previous data it over-writes the data with zeroes ( 0 ) and it marks the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) as unallocated space and should solve the issue; it's not something to do to a HDD that has data you want to save on it.
