    Cant install a Crysis

Just tried to install Crysis and the bar gets all the way to the finish then I get an error 1303 message, almost identical to this one:

    http://www.incrysis.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=11067

I have tried the many solutions I found on the web, most of them was for Sanbox installation, my problem is the actualy Crysis game itself wont install.

I am the Admin user on my computer, and I am the only user account on here. I have turned UAC off in many different methods, still to no avail. I am lost, this is the only game that has done this to me. I have installed Metro 2033, ME2, L4D2, all without problems.

I have no idea what to do now. Im sure this is a Winodws problem and not a Crysis installation problem, as Im sure I installed this game properly, about 6 months ago on the same system, and OS.

    My specs:
    i5-750 @ 3.6
    2x2GB Ripjaws @ 1440 MHz
    GTX 295
    Raptor 150GB
    Sata 500GB
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Try installing it offline without a firewall and av blocking the download.
Once installed then turn everything back on. IMO

I tried many different methods, none of them worked. The only way I could get Crysis installed was by re-formatting and then re-installing Windows 7 fresh.

It is ok now, but dissapointed I had to do this in-order to get it installed.

Sorry to hear you had to go thru all that. I've been there and done that so I know how you feel.
Take care and have a great day.

WOW that suxs man so sorry. Whenever I get a new game like CODMW2, I use Infra Recorder to copy the disc to my computer as an ISO image. Then I mount the ISO image using Virtual Clone and install the game that way. Its SUPER faster, just remember to save your key somewhere you can easily find it.

    Hope all is Well,

Protip: dont install games to program files, ever.

Now, I dont know if you did but if any of you do, well that only causes problems because it's protected folder.

You mean Program Files in your C Drive, because I install all programs and games to my DATA partition. I still call the folder "Program Files" but the location is my D drive.
