This will not help much...
open Windows Media Player, CTRL-U and copy in the URL you want to play.

I have not found any better way to play Internet Radio on WMP 12 yet. Hopefully someone else will have a better way. This is a bit 1960s!

This is what I get when I tried to play rm9player
Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or a required codec might not be installed on your computer.
On XP it plays ok. What codec is needed for this?

Try CNTL-U in WMP and insert:
*** RM9 Online *** La webradio Chrétienne de L'Océan Indien

It works on my WMP 12.

Windows: How To Create an Application Shortcut to a Radio Stream URL

I've done this with Windows 7.

Rt-click on the Desktop and select New -> Shortcut

Browse to the Windows Media Player, or, the path on my computer should likely be the same, so try copying and pasting this line:

Code:

"C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe" http:\stream.jackfm.co.uk:8000
Continue finishing the shortcut and there you have it.
Anyway, you can create a folder, then copy your shortcuts there.
And, you can change the http line to any valid URL stream for each new shortcut you create.

No Internet TV or Netflix in Media Center
Ok, I have a relatively new computer (6 months old Alienware) with Windows 7 Ultimate. I never knew there could be an option for Internet TV or Netflix in Media Center until my wife got a new computer two days ago (Windows 7 Home Premium) and I saw that she had a button for both Internet TV and...

Is Internet TV available in Australia via media center?
As the subjects asks.. If not why does MS have it listed as a feature on the MS-AU site? I guess it's to make idiots like me go through the setup wizard 18 times for no reason. If you live in the US you have the right to watch Internet TV and to **** up the world as you see fit. :)
