I had the same problem. Not sure what hardware you're using, but I have the official wireless networking adapter for my XBox 360 and a Linksys WRT320N. I was able to resolve the problem by going into my router settings and locking the wireless channel to 6 (instead of auto) and disabling the frame burst in the advanced wireless settings.

I also am experiencing slow performance from my MC on XBOX 360. I'm wired [not wireless] and still hurting with Seven MC. This is with RC Build 7100. All is slow from selection to navigation. Is there some kind of patch somewhere to address Seven MC performance??

    If so, thx in advance,

    Andres

this may not help but, i know that it takes the xbox 360 hours and hours to find and read all your media files. especaily if you have alot of files like I do! and using a wireless router does slow down that problem even more.

also any help with this problem would be great , thank you! https://www.sevenforums.com/media-cen...tml#post113449

I thought the same but the MC on Vista did not behave the same. The performance hit is from the start, as in loading the main menu. I do not think it has to do anything with my media, but I could be wrong. The could be prefetching media settings which is not good. Thax for the input. I will try to do more research during the week.

    make media center faster

I searched and tried everything, nothing would work. What finally worked is goto "network and sharing center" click on "change advance sharing settings" then TURN ON MEDIA STREAMING. Seemed to work for me, menus still slugish but my shows arnt lagging every 10 secs anymore. IF nothing else works you can try tversity as another streaming thing for your 360. Hope this helps!
