I have Windows 7 Home on my pc and I'm wondering if there is any way to get Windows Media Center to recognize the tv tuner that is built into my monitor. (I'm using a Samsung 23" HDTV/monitor as the display for my pc.) Or, do I have to have a tv tuner card or usb tv tuner for my pc??
Thanks in advance for any help...

You will need a fairly high end graphic adapter and a TV tuner card or USB tuner to receive and decode the TV signal that comes, whether via cable, satellite or OTA (over the air). No working around that that I know of.

Media Center is a part of the OS but will only work (for TV reception and recording) with the appropriate hardware installed on your computer. Good luck.
