Media Center not picking up correct channel lineup?

Okay, so I can rearrange them using the edit feature, but what about the channels that don't show up at all? I would like to see them in the guide too. Instead of saying "No data available" Many of the digital channels I am supposed to get don't show up at all. Also, my provider is not listed even thought the web site clearly shows they do provide digital channels. (This is a new thing as last semester the college only had a few digital channels mainly PBS)

My provider is the Pennsylvania State University but the only ones showing for digital are Comcast and Windstream, both of the State College area.

Besides that, the lineup recently changed at Penn State. When will Media Center get this updated information so I can properly view my channels? This is very irritating.

Can someone let me know what's wrong here? It is hard to watch TV when all the channels are incorrect!

If your problem is channel line-up for a digital channel when the corresponding regular channel has correct listings, you can correct this yourself.

I am not on my system, but the process is something like:

    Go to Setup
    Select TV
    Select Guide

You can then click (or double click) on the channel without information, and copy the information from another channel.

This works for me, where my listing includes only the regular channels, and not the corresponding digital channels.

If the digital channel has no corresponding analog channel, I don't have a solution.

never mind. I contacted TV Guide it was fixed less than an hour later. So the problem was on their end.

For those in the Penn State area that can't get the proper channel lineup, use zip code 16802, not 16801 or any others. You'll see a University Park option when you use 16802.
