Mikinho,
I just wanted to post here, and give you some credit for your work. I've tested out other MM's and other plugins lately, and well, yours for me seemed to work "out of the box" the best so far. I have seen other MM's with nice ideas and such, but they dont seem to work for me, atleast on the first go around with them. With yours i had no problems, other than my own "user" related issues. Yours works like it says, and has no problem with loading up media dirs. I have had problems just with getting a MM to recognize what i have media i loaded up on it.
If you can get that TvEp and a mature metadata grab, along with the other changes, your app is hands down the overall best. No crashes, bug-outs etc. Small in footprint as well that i like, easy on the resources.
Keep up that hard work Mikinho!! | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number CUSTOM OS XP/win7 x86 build 7127 CPU Athlon64 X2 DUAL 4200+ 2.21ghz Motherboard ASUS K8 PRO SLI Memory 2GB Dual Chan DDR2 Corsair Graphics Card Nvidia 6800GT Sound Card nvidia Monitor(s) Displays 19' LCD Screen Resolution 1280x1024 Keyboard MS wireless Mouse MS Wireless PSU coolermaster 450 Case SUPERFLOWER Cooling 1 HDD bay fan, 5x80mm Case Fans, AEROGATE II Fan/Temp Hard Drives WD 250, 2x500, 2x1TB IDE/USB

Thanks for the kind words Digger, I'm glad Yammm has been useful to others. I will definitely get the TvEp and other features in place soon (has to be before my wedding on the 20th )
I unfortunately won't be releasing any big updates today as I'm having some problems either my RAID Controller Card or one of the hard drives so I have some troubleshooting to do there. So i guess this is goodbye then, lol, just kidding. Good luck with everything. Hope you have some good weather that day
Seriously tho, i left that comment because i had in mind the fact that ALOT of ppl are going to "migrate" to 7 and the Media Center and on down the line for the future. And tho i fooled around with alot of other plugins and meta-fetchers, yours came "simple based" (if thats even a term) and easy to use and get going/understand. Not that the others were terribly difficult, i didnt feel like i was putting together some IKEA furniture before i got to actually use it, if you understand me there, lol. I think this is a very big key, especially with so called MC amateur/novice ppl like myself whom never cared to use MS anything, but now almost have to with the MC and extenders.
I was never the one for the fancy eye-candy collection, text based did me just fine. So thanks for moving me a little closer to the 21st century, hehehe. that sums it up best
One question for yammm, why is the "Library settings" greyed out? Doesnt auto-check for changes yet? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number CUSTOM OS XP/win7 x86 build 7127 CPU Athlon64 X2 DUAL 4200+ 2.21ghz Motherboard ASUS K8 PRO SLI Memory 2GB Dual Chan DDR2 Corsair Graphics Card Nvidia 6800GT Sound Card nvidia Monitor(s) Displays 19' LCD Screen Resolution 1280x1024 Keyboard MS wireless Mouse MS Wireless PSU coolermaster 450 Case SUPERFLOWER Cooling 1 HDD bay fan, 5x80mm Case Fans, AEROGATE II Fan/Temp Hard Drives WD 250, 2x500, 2x1TB IDE/USB

I haven't finished the changes for that yet....that will be published tonight. I was waiting to setup a NAS to test with. It auto-checks for changes but most NAS devices do not support file change notifications so I added a polling option in addition to monitoring for changes. I didn't want to make the settings enabled until I could test to ensure they worked properly. They do so I'll be enabling tonight | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number My HTPC OS 6x W2K8 R2 (x64), 6x W7 7600 (x64), 2x Gentoo (x64), 1x Ubuntu 9.04 (x64), 1x pfSense (FreeBSD) CPU Core2 Duo E8400 3.0Ghz Motherboard ASUS P5E-VM Memory Corsair DDR-800 4GB RAM Graphics Card EVGA NVidia GeForce GT240 Screen Resolution 1080p PSU Corsair HX520w Case Antec Fusion Max Cooling Passive Thermalright HR-1 CPU Heatsink w/ Nexus Fan Hard Drives OCZ Vertex 60GB (C:\D: System\Apps)

how does the file2folder batch file handle new movies i download? do i have to run the batch file every time i add a new movie? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number IBM ThinkPad T61p OS Win7 x64 7232 CPU Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 2.2GHz Memory 4GB Graphics Card NVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M Hard Drives WD 320GB |

You should not need to, Yammm should detect the video (once copied/moved to the monitored folder) and create a directory & move the file to it. I'll run a test scenario, and see if it actually does, if not then a simple fix is to run the file2folder each time but it only takes seconds. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Compaq Desktop OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU AMD Sempron Dual Core Memory 3GB Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 Screen Resolution 1024x768 Hard Drives 150GB Sata |

another explanation.... you only need the file2folder.bat if you have a folder\ with alot of movies that arent already in their own named folder as the movie. This is all that file2folder does. It will also move any other associated file into the same folder with it with the same main name, like an .nfo file, or moviename-front.jpg (as an example). This is not a database type program like yammm. Yammm is the second step in the process after you have your movies in their own movienamed folder.
